Shipping & Delivery


Here at Model Display Products we want to offer you the best shipping prices possible. Therefore all our shipping/delivery prices are worked out by weight as we feel this is the farest way we can deal with postage. Postage will be displayed during the checkout procedure.
All our packages are sent out by us using the Royal Mail postal sytem or when your order contains a spray can then it is sent out by courier

We will only ship to the address given to us by PayPal, the only exception to this will be for BFPO addresses.

As soon as your item has shipped, you will receive an email from us letting you know it is on the way.

We do not charge for packing and handling.

We aim to ship all orders within 1 to 2 working days, if there will be a delay in your order taking longer you will be informed and kept up to date with the status of your order.

UK Postage:

All UK orders are sent via Royal Mail with the exception of orders over 2Kg or containing aerosols which are sent via courier.

Please note that the courier enforces an additional charge for delivery to the Scottish Highlands and Islands postcode zones:

AB 31 to AB 38, AB 40 to AB 56, IV 1 to 28, IV 30 to 32, IV 36 & 40, IV 52 to 54, IV63, KW 1 to 14, PA 21 to PA 38, PH 4 to PH 41, PH 49, PH 50. Northern Ireland (BT)
HS, IV 41 to 49, IV 51, 55 & 56. KA 27 & 28, KW 15 to17. PA 20, PA 41 to 49, PA 60 to 78, PH 42 to 44. ZE. Isle of Man (IM). Channel Islands

We can not send aerosols to Northern Ireland (BT Postcodes), Isle of Man or the Channel Islands. Aerosols can only be sent to Mainland UK postcodes.

We will inform you when your order has been collected by Royal Mail or has been booked in with the courier and where applicable you will be notified of tracking details.

Europe & Rest of the World:

Postage for all customers outside of the UK will be by airmail and is calculated using the current prices on the Royal Mail website.

Orders over 2Kg is via carrier.

When will I get my order?

We strive to ship all of our orders as soon as possible (stock permitting) and we will let you know as soon as your order has shipped. However, if we have an item that is not held in stock at that particular time, we may have to wait for a delivery from the supplier. This may delay your order by a day or two and again we will let you know as soon as possible.

Our web store does not show in stock availability because the majority of our products are cast “in house” and we also attend shows up and down the UK at various times of the year. Rather than mislead you telling you items are in stock when they are not, we would rather manage your expectations and give you a lead time of 2-3 working days until dispatch. If you have purchased multiple items, we may part ship some of your items and send the rest soon after rather than keeping hold of all of them if only one is out of stock. If you have pre ordered new releases along with other items, we will hold the whole order until all items are ready for dispatch. If you wish to receive your items in 2 shipments, please order them separately.

If an item is out of stock with the supplier, then we will amend the listing accordingly and advise you it is unavailable. If you need your order urgently, contact us and we can give you a specific delivery time for your items. Having said that, we do carry a pretty big stock list so most of the time it won't be a problem!

Import Taxes

If you live outside the UK or the European Union you may be subject to import taxes or customs duty. We are not responsible for any of these charges and we suggest you contact your local customs office to establish what charges you may or may not be liable for. Please don't ask us to doctor the CN22 Customs Declaration sticker on your package...

What if my order does not arrive?

If your order has not arrived within an acceptable time from dispatch, give us a call and we will see if we can help. Usually a call to your local sorting office will solve the problem but if your item has gone missing, then we will endeavour to help track your parcel down. Please note however, we cannot always offer refunds in these situations where we can provide proof of postage (recorded delivery).
