Goblin Scout

An icy wind blew across the frozen steppes making the flames of the campfire dance wildly, illuminating the sullen faces of the troopers huddles around it. At least out here in the middle of nowhere they were safe, they could relax for a short moment knowing that the enemy was far away beyond the ice flow.  Little did they know that huddled in his fur-lined cloak, the goblin scout was watching their every move through his night vision goggles. Content that the troopers were settled in for the night, he slid down behind the bolder and rested, tomorrow was going to be another hard day.
